From March to May, place Chamundi Hills, the zoo and longer walks earlier in the day. Monsoon months bring greener surroundings, but showers can change viewpoint visibility and slow road travel.
Visiting during Dasara
Dasara gives Mysuru a special atmosphere, with decorations, events and larger crowds. Expect traffic controls, busy central roads and higher demand; build the trip around fewer confirmed priorities.
